Videography

In varsity and my first year in the working world I freelanced and studied videography.

Here are some of my favourite videos from my time behind the camera.

This trailer follows the journey of DJ and Cultural Curator Nandi Jakuja, also known as Pinkie P, as she prepares for New Folder "Stay Low, Keep Firing", an event that prioritizes queer and non-gender binary bodies.

The Invisible Disability

In this short video we take a look at the debilitating effects of depression on one's everyday lives. Depression often goes unnoticed as an ailment due to it not frequently having many physical symptoms.

SPCA Awareness

As part of Mandela Day, the NSPCA in Grahamstown took to the location to spay dogs in the community free of charge to prevent a surge in the reproduction of dogs.

Alternative Drug Video

Inspired by Reddit forums and all their glory, this short video looks to share the experiences of drug users during their trips, both good and bad.

Happening Thursday

Cultural curator, Jodie Pather, reignites the creative spirit in Grahamstown with the event, "Happening Thursday" that celebrates art, poetry and music in the community.

Fashion Ungendered

This short video takes a look at the male lense of fashion, and the ways in which gendered fashion is taking a step back, as a new generation of fashionistas prioritizes style over gender norms.
